The court house and former castle

The Moosburg law court is a branch of the Freising county court (Amtsgericht). On the same site used to be the castle of the counts of Moosburg first built in 1207. Old views of Moosburg (by Donauer und Merian) depict this castle.

The old 19th century court house was extended in 1995 by Stefan Wenzl. The playful architecture finally brought the postmodern style even to Moosburg. Picture: © WebTeam Moosburg
